Denim jeans have always been a staple of our lives. We wear them every day and our wardrobes are full of them, and yet, we just can’t seem to find that perfect pair.
Finding the right pair of jeans is like climbing Mount Everest, almost unattainable and only a few can get to the top, but here’s some good news—it’s not impossible.
And to help you find the god-sent pair of jeans, here are 7 questions you should ask yourself before buying a pair.

1. Do you understand the difference between skinny jeans and jeggings?

While some mistake skinny jeans and jeggings to be the same, they’re not. Skinny jeans are made of denim, but their fit is designed to give you that perfect body-hugging look.
On the other hand, jeggings are not necessarily made out of denim, they are more comfortable and most of them don’t even have zips or buttons. They are actually made to look like denim.
If you are looking for a comfortable daily wear, then jeggings are a better option.

2. Do you try on different sizes?

Do not stick to one size, even for the same brand. Every design and every cut of jeans can be vastly different from the other.
Whenever trying on jeans, try different sizes as well. So if you are a 30, then try a 28 and a 32 just to see which fits better. Yes, this might sound tiring, but at the end, it can lead to astonishing results.

3. Do you take pictures?

No, I am not talking about mirror selfies in trial rooms. Take pictures of all the different jeans and sizes you try so that you can revisit them later to analyze.
And don’t just take pictures from the front, take pictures from the back as well. Because let’s be honest, in a world filled with Kardashians, your booty is just as important.

4. Do you always buy the same fit of jeans?

So, you found well-fitted jeans, and you have stuck with them for the last several years or so. Every time you go to the store, you buy the very same fit.
Well, its 2016, and you need to change your style. Do not stick to one fit just because it works. Keep experimenting and finding new jeans. You’ll be amazed how many different styles there are.

5. Do you get the length of the jeans altered?

The length of the jeans in the market are just the standard lengths, and they may or may not fit you. Of course, the length also depends upon the waist sizes you are buying.
Decide the length you want for your jeans and then get them altered. Whether you want them longer or cropped out, it’s all up to you.

6. Do you want to show your ankles?

Some people like to keep their jeans just above their ankles, while others like to keep their ankles hidden.
Usually ankle cropped jeans look better on a petite body, or taller woman. You could get your jeans altered or just fold them up for a cooler look.

7. Do you want a more body hugging fit?

You can either go for a more body hugging fit, a comfortable fit, or a pallazo style denim for an 80s vibe. If you have a petite figure with a shorter height then a body hugging fit would be perfect for you. Whereas, if you are taller, you should definitely experiment with flared denims.
